Is mortgage interest tax deductible on my second home ?

If your real estate agent is answering questions like these you might consider getting a new agent.  We are not accountants, lawyers, builders, plumbers or electricians.  For questions like this we are here to be the source of the source. I used an AI engine called Gluino to find the section of the tax code covering this ( IRS Publication 936, "Home Mortgage Interest Deduction) and forwarded  to my client advising him to ask a tax accountant.
